Social media like Instagram, Pinterest and tumbler allow you to add tags so people can find your images very easily by adding tags to the images so when people search similar ideas or tags then they will find your work easily which helps when it’s someone you don’t know like an employer. Most of them are now apps for your phone or device but can be viewed as websites as well the same as Facebook.

• Because of Covid the demand for internet is increasing with more and more people choosing that instead of going out, and as they are becoming more popular for professional photographers and also for students to show their work to family friends and potential employers without face to face or sending paper copies or large files of things.

  people tend to use websites in order to market themselves or their products to potential customers, also when we are doing work for college its easier for long distance and can be sent to others to view work instead of paper copies of everything and most photos are now digital with advancing technology so it would make sense to use a digital portfolio.
