forests story

he was bought from a breeder by a women with his brother at a very young age, as he came in the sanctuary at 1 year old we can assume he was maybe a few months old when he was sold, they arrived at the sanctuary late in the evening with the women begging the sanctuary to take them as she could no longer afford to pay for forests brothers medical bills and she wanted them to go to a good home . as forest and his brothers were neutered goats they wouldn't be any use to anyone other than being pets and would most likely be slaugtered 

i met forest when he was 7 years old, having lost his brother 2 years prior we seemed to bond and from everyone's perspective he always treated me as a mum, hiding under my legs when scared and running over when being picked on. i cared for him over a year and unfortunately he got very sick very quickly and after several months of being sick we made the difficult decision to put him to sleep.
